CoverGirl Whipped Creme Foundation and Flamed Out Mascara First Impressions!

I know that it has been absolutely ages since I have talked to you guys and I am so sorry for that. School and my personal life have been a bit crazy but I am finally getting back into the swing of things! So here are all of my thoughts on the NEW CoverGirl Whipped Creme Foundation and NEW CoverGirl Flamed Out Max Volume Mascara. For a demo of both products please visit My YouTube Channel :)

xoxo M

CoverGirl Whipped Creme Foundation:
-I purchased shade 320
-I purchased mine at Walmart for $9.99
-When choosing a shade, if you know the color you use in a different type of CG foundation just look at the last two numbers. 220 = 320
-Light/Medium Coverage
-Buildable
-Great for Oily/Combination/Dry Skin types (not extra dry skin)
-Airbrushed effect
-Extremely dry formula (mousse like texture)
-Blends evenly
-Long-wearing
FINAL THOUGHTS: I was skeptical of this foundation at first, but I really like it! The airbrushed effect is incredible on camera and in photos. It applied evenly and blended seamlessly. The shades are true to their "sister shades" in other CG foundations so finding a shade is easy. A great foundation for all skin types and so different from the Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme foundation!

Covergirl Flamed Out Max Volume Mascara:
-I purchased shade Black Blaze
-I purchased mine at Walmart for $8.49
-Lengthening and separating, not extremely volumizing
-Dry formula (similar to Lancome Definicils)
-Does not clump
-Very natural lash effect
-Smudged after a few hours (even waterproof formula)
-Wand does not allow use on the lower lashes
FINAL THOUGHTS: Not my favorite mascara, I liked the effect and application at first but the smudging throughout the day was too much. I do not have oily eyelids, so I cannot imagine how this would be on those who do. Too much fuss for such a high mascara price!

MAC Mineralize Moisture Foundation: FIRST IMPRESSIONS

So I'm not going to write a huge blogpost about this foundation because I have a video discussing my thoughts on this foundation which will be linked below! Overall I will just say *AMAZING*. Great for Normal to Dry skin, hydrating, good coverage, buildable, and delightful;)

Below are some pictures of it's wear throughout the day. I wore the foundation for about 9 hours total and in the end I thought it still looked great, especially since I didn't retouch at all.

Hope you guys enjoy and don't forget to watch my video review for more information!

WAKE ME UP FOUNDATION NOT COMING TO THE U.S.!

Okay, so we have all heard about Rimmel London's Wake Me Up Foundation that everyone in the UK is raving about! Well, I decided that I was tired of checking websites to find out when this product was going to launch in the US so I sent an email to Rimmel inquiring when it would become available. This, unfortunately, was their reply:

Thank you for asking about Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation. We're sorry to disappoint you, but this product is not available for sale in the United States. Unfortunately there are no current plans to launch this product and there are no retailers that will deliver product into the U.S. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

The products we did launch from our Wake Me Up collection are Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer and Shimmer Balm, which you can locate at authorized retailers that include most major CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Duane Reade, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Sears, ULTA and Target stores.

WOW. Talk about disappointing. I do not understand why the UK and Canada have received this product and they don't even know if we will ever get it. I guess at least we will be able to purchase the concealer and shimmer balm. Just thought I should share this with the beauty community so that no one gets their hopes up about this foundation coming to the US anytime soon.

Hope this helps those of you who had questions about it:)

So if you guys follow me on Instagram you saw ->
this picture which looks a bit more glammed up than the tutorial! I just wanted to add my own Melby flare to the look so if you want to achieve this look, do everything from the video tutorial the same except:
1. Double Up the Lashes! I used MAC #4 and #32
2. Change the Lipstick to something a bit more vibrant, I used this peachy nude called Crush by Rimmel London.
3. ROCK IT! haha but honestly those are the only things that I changed:)

You can easily personalize the looks that I create or just looks that you see in magazines, movies, or tv shows! Here you can see how tiny changes can really change the overall look:)
